Most Tuesdays,The Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at Harvard holds seminars. Today’s installment in the seminar series is a talk by Benjamin Tu of UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He’ll speak on “Metabolic Signals that Drive Cell Growth and Proliferation,” and will be around for questions after the talk.

Also see that Mehmet Toner of MGH "will be speaking ":https://network.nature.com/hubs/boston/events/9855on “Microsystems for Cell Sorting: Tiny Technologies, Microfluidics, and Clinical and Global Health Applications.” He helped create a portable CD4 cell counter that is being marketed as a “counting system portable and robust enough to be used anywhere, from a doctor’s office to the most remote settings.”
