Vote For London Scientific Museums

The Art Fund Prize 2010 longlist includes two London museums with scientific remits. The Royal Institution makes the list because of its recent reinvention and reopening. The Natural History Museum is also there thanks to the impressive Darwin Centre Phase II.

You can vote for your favourite nominee from a complete list of 11 national museums and galleries. The (impressive) judging panel will take any votes and comments into consideration when making their decision. The winner will be announced on 30 June 2010, receiving a prize of £100,000. Vote here.

Personally, I’ve plumped for the Royal Institution. It’s smaller than the other London locations on the list, and deserves recognition for its incredible history of public communication of science. After it’s recent troubles, this would be a fantastic fillip.
