Sharks in hot water

Market survey reveals high death toll.

A conservative new estimate indicates that between 26 million and 73 million sharks are killed worldwide each year. That's three to four times higher than the numbers reported by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization.

this is absolutely scandalous. what is it about the chinese?? tigers, rhinos, sharks - these people wont be happy till theyve exterminated them all. if china has aspirations of being taken seriously as a respectable world player then it needs to take a good hard look at itself and do something about this.
