It´s really great knowing that Spirit is still surviving in the red planet. And also its twin, Opportunity!!
It is also a pleasure to visit Mars through these rover´s "eyes".
Congratulations to the team who designed and builded them!! And to the scientists who are still working with these cute siblings.

The spirit and opportunity have, indeed, been doing a terrific job of collecting and transmitting data and images of the Martian surface which are of immense sceintif value. As far as this new feat of Spirit is concerned, it embodies the very human spirit of 'never say die'!. In my opinion, both of these exceptional systems must be fully utilized for building up a comprehensive understanding of Mars, ofcourse within the limitations of the resolution and quality of the gathered data.

Congratulations to the Spirit and Opportunity teams! More than 10 times the manufacturer's warranty is an accomplishment deserving of celebration - and the nice, big, round number doesn't hurt, either.
