Great work! I was just wondering if the same holds true for cancer stem cells since they are known to play a major role in tumor metastasis?

This is more of the same old refrain: So long as genetics and drugs are involved the "research" is of interest and should be funded and encouraged. But when Joseph Gold, M.D. sought to propose and prove the efficacy of a cheap and inexpensive substance to inhibit the glycolic pathway followed by all cancer cells, rather than receive encouragement and praise from the cancer generals he was vilified and obstructed by the cancer industry. Everyone should read the remarkable document "The Truth About Hydrazine Sulfate-Dr. Gold Speaks" 2005 by Joseph Gold, M.D., at www.hydrazinesulfate.org. This roughly 20 page document with 78 references is basically a criminal indictment of the U.S. National Cancer Institute.
This procedure is based on the seminal discovery of the genius level scientist Otto Warburg, M.D., Ph.D. (1883-1970), who proved, confirmed by many others, that all cancer cells metabolize mainly by running on glucose in the absence of oxygen. The reference "The Hidden Story of Cancer" by Brian Peskin, E.E. and Amid Habib, M.D., Pinnacle Press, Houston, 2006 has a whole chapter demolishing the myth of the cancer generals that cancer is genetically caused. Again, so long as drugs and genetics are involved, everything is "a go" to more failed results of cancer research. "The cancer cure is just around the next billion dollar corner".
