Since Soy is n everything, I'm having a terrible time avoiding it. Now it's going to have a poison resistant gene in it. How's that going to react with my digestive processes? Where can I go to get just ordinary food, untinkered with? Shouldn't the box it comes in have a black box label advising me it's GM? And if not, why not?

Your needs are important, but the need of transnational capital to recoup its investments in biotech are more important. If the entire ecosystem of the planet ends up being a test site disaster for mad scientists, well, at least the investors got their money.
