Buckyballs could help fight allergies
Nanoparticles show a talent for blocking immune reactions.
Soccer ball-shaped nanoparticles known as buckyballs may one day help to offer relief for allergy sufferers. Adapted buckyballs are capable of blocking the pathway mediating allergic responses in human immune cells, research has revealed.

Dear sir,
The research on buckyball nano-tech for drug transport and deliver to specific targets makes for absorbing reading. The therapeutic potential of this paper and technology is immense.
Here, in many regions of India, native populations, liberally apply ayurvedic ointments and inunctions. Smoke soot is one among the chosen base vehicles in preparation of salves. The carbon soot particles chemically, are miniature fullerine morphs.
How, or why soot increases the efficacy(if indeed it does) of the medicinal property of the administered potions or drugs raises intersting questions.

Where do I join the trials? I am 65 years of age with allergic asthma and Psoreatic Arthritis. I have been hospitalized 3 times with asthma and have not responded well to Methotrexate or Humira for the arthritis.
