Hi
While not doubting that the experiment happened I am a little suspicious of the video. The delay between seeing the floating peanut and going for water is too short for problem solving. The Orang-utan is repeating a learned behaviour in my opinion.

I was just wondering why the Orangs weren't able to simply pour the water in the bottle into the tube. Maybe I'm missing something.

If one accepts the conclusions of this experiment, and I do, then one wonders why such an intelligent animal is being kept is such a small cage.
