US ethics panel reports on DNA sequencing and privacy
With DNA sequencing speeding into clinical practice, researchers and policymakers must find ways to protect individuals’ genomic data while still being able to share information, according to the U.S. President’s Commission on Bioethics. The group today released a report containing a series of recommendations about whole genome sequencing and privacy.
