Diary from an Arctic icebreaker - June 12, 2008

We'd be remiss if we didn't point out our excellent colleague Quirin Schiermeier, a reporter with Nature's news team, has been aboard the Canadian icebreaker Amundsen for the past week, as part of a major study on Arctic sea ice.
