Jonathan Ellis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he has taught since 2002. He received his PhD in Philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley (2002). Since 2005, he has been Co-Director of the Santa Cruz Linguistics and Philosophy Group at UC Santa Cruz. Ellis’s primary areas of research are the philosophy of psychology, the philosophy of mind and epistemology. Recently he co-edited *Wittgenstein and the Philosophy of Mind* (published by Oxford University Press in 2012).
