As from today, this social networking site becomes a little bit more social.

You can now contact other Network members directly – and they can contact you. This should make it much easier for you to get in touch with potential collaborators.

But you have to tick a box to opt into the service.

If you’re happy for people to contact you through Nature Network, click ‘your profile’ in the blue box (top left), and then ‘edit your profile’. You can untick the box at any time to make yourself non-contactable once more.

Give it a go by contacting me, if you like. Click on my name and you’ll see a red link at the top of my profile.
