Ada Lovelace Day: A Celebration of Female Scientists

lovelace.jpgTomorrow (24 March) is Ada Lovelace Day. The second annual event celebrates the achievements of women in the fields of science, technology and engineering through the medium of the blog post.

Lovelace, you may recall, was a pioneering mathematician and computer programmer, working on Charles Babbage’s Analytical Engine.

We’re all encouraged to write a post about the important, often overlooked role that women have played in the development of science. It’d be good to offer some Nature Network support. Who’s in?

Once you’ve published your post, slap the URL into the form here, and it’ll be collated with other blog posts from around the world.
