Following up on an article I wrote a couple of months ago about pharmaceutical research centers moving to Boston, it looks like another one is doubling in size here in East Cambridge, according to the Boston Business Journal.
Schering-Plough first made its move here by buying a local biotech, NeoGenesis Pharmaceuticals, last year. Now it’s leasing more space, occupying almost an entire building. It’s another example of the big companies needing to be close to small companies and universities for innovation.
