Despite the pub forgetting our reservation, last night’s second NNB pub night was a success! They still managed to find tables and space for the 25 of us who came out (that’s 10 more than last month). We had representation from Harvard Medical School, Children’s, MGH, Children’s Hospital, MIT, Brandeis, Tufts/New England Medical Center, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Synta Pharmaceuticals, and of course Nature’s Boston office (and probably others I missed).

The event has already inspired one blog post from one of our bloggers, Willy Lensch about the effects of the downturn in NIH funding on young PIs.

Our next event will be in Cambridge at the end of August.
