This morning the crew of the Shuttle Atlantis woke in space to the dulcet sounds of US band 3 Doors Down performing ‘Kryptonite’. Having recovered from that, they had to get on with the day’s tasks of checking the shuttle’s heat shield for damage sustained during yesterday’s launch and getting ready for tomorrow’s rendezvous with the Hubble telescope.
