While England’s footballers were bumbling their way out of Euro 2008 last night, I was in a Cambridge pub talking to a much more capable team: a bunch of young scientists who run a science mag called BlueSci.
This well-crafted periodical and website features regular news articles and blog posts highlighting the best research coming out of Cambridge labs. The team also creates podcasts and videos, including a documentary about the Large Hadron Collider which they‘re, rightly, very chuffed about. The quality of writing and film making is impressive, particularly since BlueSci is put together by working scientists who somehow fit it all in around their lab work.
So go check it out, and keep an eye out for BlueSci on Nature Network, as we’re hoping to work with them in 2008.
