Just a brief note to point you towards an eclectic event coming up this Sunday. Digital music student Matthias Mauch (who some of you may remember from the last Nature Network London drinks) has put together the following program of music and readings.
Dan Tidhar opens the afternoon with Bach’s Goldberg Variations on harpsichord, complemented by music for winds by Debussy, Danzi and Arnold from London’s Capricorn Quintet. And for those in search of more great minds, Prof Richard Nichols [of Queen Mary University of London] presents revolutionary and entertaining passages from Darwin’s original works.
The event takes place at LaDanza Studio on Holloway Road and begins at 3.30 on Sunday. Tickets are £10, or £8 concessions. As Johann Sebastian Bach once said, probably: ’It’s the coolest ticket in town, baby’.
