Some of the world’s deadliest diseases have been unleashed upon Smithfield. In the space of just five minutes Nature Network blogger M@ Brown was exposed to SARS, HIV, smallpox and swine flu. The incident happened at Smithfield Gallery a little after 7pm last night. Fellow Networkers Jenny Rohn, Richard Grant and Stephen Curry were similarly exposed to the virions. Traces of E. coli were also found at the scene.

The deadly diseases were created at the secret underwater volcano lair studio of Luke Jerram (pictured below).

It is believed that the mortiferous collection will linger in Smithfield Gallery until 3 October, after which the illnesses are likely to spread further afield. Epidemiologists have already tracked the movement of a swine flu particle to the Wellcome Collection.
