Lot of disappointment at missing out on tickets for this last time, so advance warning now: Festival of the Spoken Nerd is back in London in September and there are still some tickets available.

Described as ‘a celebration of science, comedy and unashamed geekiness, with live experiments, audience participation and specially selected guest scientists and comedy headliners,’ FOTSN is a live show put together by mathematician Matt Parker, Blue Peter scientist Steve Mould and comedian Helen Arney.

Each show is different: September’s show at the New Red Lion in Angel is themed around science which has improved human life and promises to include toilets, scurvy and pirates. Book now!
