Congratulations to Sid Rodrigues and Rebecca Watson (of Nature Networks London and Boston respectively) for tying the knot a couple of weeks ago in Las Vegas. The transatlantic relationship is of some vintage, and Nature Network can take no credit for bringing them together, but I think it stands as the first betrothal of two Networkers. We’ll have to see about adding a third relationship status to supersede ‘friend’ and ‘contact’.

The pair married live on stage during The Amazing Meeting 7 (a celebration of critical thinking and skepticism) after Sid popped the question during a panel discussion (nerd or romantic? You decide). The ensuing ceremony was captured on film:
