In case anyone’s forgotten, today is a big day for space fans in London: the Science Museum is opening the cover of the Apollo 10 command module for one day only.
The Science Museum is on Exhibition Road (which is currently being dug up, but don’t let that put you off – it’s still open, it’s just a slight mission to get in), nearest tube South Kensington or Gloucester Road. Withspecial late opening during the summer holidays, the museum is open until 7pm every night, last entry 6:15pm. Free.
