NNB met up with Nerd Fun Boston last year and the group’s calendar just keeps getting fuller. Today they’ll be meeting at a Planet of the Apes showing, a talk on sharks and Harvard’s observatory night.
With more than 3,500 members, they’ve had almost 800 meet-ups in four years, they’re in my mailbox every day. Here’s how you know whether this is your meet-up crowd.
You like learning things, going to museums, science lectures, and you can’t get your regular crew to go with you.

Maybe you got excited to hear that Universal is opening a Harry Potter theme park in Florida 2010 (!!!)
