You can now view almost any location in central London in glorious 360 degree panoramic photos.

Google have been busy driving round the capital, capturing every building and street with special panoramic cameras. But they’ve had competition, and small Italian firm Seety have beaten the tech giants to implementation. Their imagery is now available online, cheekily using the Google Maps API.

I took a virtual tour around town to check out a few scientific locations.

Nature offices (covered in scaffolding from a recent refurb)

UCL (rotate 180 degrees to see the Cruciform Building, an old hospital, now molecular biology lab, by the same architect as the Natural History Museum)

They even got into the parks. Here’s Greenwich Observatory.
