Nature Network’s recruiting new hub leaders

Nature Network currently has three active hubs – London, Boston and New York and we’re now looking for new hub leaders to get involved with the Boston and New York pages.

Each hub has its own section on the site with a local blog, forum and jobs and events listings. Being a hub leader involves keeping the hub blog updated with regular posts on local science news or events that you’ve attended, as well as welcoming newcomers to the forum and helping with the posting of events. Organising the occasional pub meet or get-together is also welcome!

So, if you have science writing experience and you’ve got a passion for bringing together scientists in your community, we want to hear from you! Send your CV, some examples of your writing/blog and a short cover letter explaining what you’d like to do with a hub to network at nature dot com.

We’re also reviving the debate as to which hubs to create next so if you believe your local science community would benefit from their own hub pages or would like to volunteer to run one, please contact us in the same way.
