Well, this Friday’s event won’t be at a pub, but there will be free hors d’oeuvres and drinks. We’re combining the NNB monthly networking event with the reception for a conference about the future of scientific publishing, being held at Harvard Medical School (TMEC building, Walter Amphitheater, 260 Longwood Ave, Boston). The free conference begins at 1pm and the reception at 5:30pm.

The organizers have come up with a great roster of speakers, including Harold Varmus, so please come. If you can’t make it in the afternoon, I hope to see you at the reception! Please RSVP by posting a reply here
