I’m afraid I’m going to be regaling you with a veritable udon soup of quizzes over the next few weeks. I seem to be writing and/or hosting three over the next six weeks. More on the other two soon, but first the key details for the regular Royal Institution pub quiz.
- Date: 15 November
- Time: Starts at 7pm, get there early for a good seat.
- Entry: £2 per person.
- Questions: All themed around science or technology, pitched at ‘New Scientist reader’ level.
- Prize: Total collection shared out among top three teams. Or all to the winner. We’re really fickle and usually decide on the night.
- Venue: The Royal Institution’s Time and Space bar.
- Team size: Up to you, really. I’d suggest no more than five, though, or your winnings will be spread more thinly than a sheet of graphene.
Hope to see a few of you there. And if not, watch this space for two other sciency quizzes in the coming weeks.
