NPG’s Pinterest Advent Calendar

Each year on Of Schemes and Memes we try to celebrate Christmas in some science-inspired way. So far we’ve had our YuleTube Calendar, Lou’s festive poem and Viktor Poor’s themed cartoon. This year is no different!

Back in August we unveiled our new account on Pinterest, the pinboard-style, photo-sharing website which enables users to create and manage image collections. You can find Nature Publishing group’s page here – where we’ve created boards exhibiting some of the cover art, videos and infographics from our website and journals.

This year we are feeling particularly festive, and to celebrate what we hope has been a brilliant year, we’ve created a Pinterest Advent Calendar:

Behind each window you won’t find a chocolate surprise…You will, however, find a written clue to help you identify what could be a picture, video, paper, infographic or special holiday treat. Don’t forget to check back each day for a new clue!
