
As previously noted, this year’s RI Christmas lectures will be delivered by Dr Hugh Montgomery from UCL’s Institute for Human Health and Performance. The RI have now announced details of the talks.

11 Dec: Grilled and Chilled How does the body keep warm?
13 Dec: Fight, Flight and Fright What happens to the body during emergency responces?
15 Dec: Luck, Genes and Stupidity How do genetic factors help with survival?
Tickets can be booked from 3 September.
The RI have also announced their autumn programme. The series includes another collaboration with Nature Network London on how online search techniques are contributing to science. You’ll be hearing much more about that one soon.
