Science Events in London: 19 – 25th December

A special calendar post this week, with no days broken out, as to the best of our knowledge, there is only one scientific event in London this week! For a while it was looking rather concerning that I would not be able to report a single one, but I am happy to advise all scientific Londoners that the place to be this week is the Baker Street Irregular Astronomers Christmas and Winter Solstice Party!

BSIA Christmas & Winter Solstice Party
Start: Dec 21, 2011 06:30 pm
End: Dec 21, 2011 11:00 pm
The 2011 Christmas & Winter Solstice Party at The Hub in Regents Park, NW1 4RU. Mulled Wine, Mince Pies and Equipment Giveaways – what could be better for a stargazer in London?

The Baker Street Irregular Astronomers were founded in 2010 and meet every month at the hub for stargazing with experts and novices equally welcome. It’s absolutely free and no equipment is required, so do check them out.

If anyone else can suggest an event this week to add to this one lonely event, please do let us know!
