For those going to the Science Online London conference at the British Library on 3-4 September, here are the details of one of the fringe events taking place just before.

Sara Fletcher of Diamond Light Source, a synchrotron facility in Oxfordshire, has offered a free tour (including coach from London) of their buildings and a talk about the work that goes on there (plus ‘tea and wine’, hopefully not in the same receptacle).

The coach will leave London (from a location near the British Library) at 6pm on Thursday 2 September (i.e. the evening before the conference). It will return to London at approximately 9pm, getting back somewhere around 10pm, depending on traffic.

This trip is only open to Science Online London delegates.
