I’ve banged on about Skeptics in the Pub on many occasions before – it’s a monthly meetup of rational, critical thinkers (often scientists) to drink beer, listen to some interesting speakers and do a bit of mingling.

Tonight’s Christmas Party is open to anyone and takes place at The Monarch in Camden Town from 7pm. Entry is £2.

Geek comedy will be provided by Helen Keen (with whom I’m organising some space-themed meetup events next year – stay tuned) and stand-up mathematician Matt Parker.
