We’re excited to announce that today will see the launch of the new Nature Network site.

As described last week the site will bring a whole new look to Nature Network as well as some brand new features. These include a “Workbench” where you can arrange apps for various online tools, a Q&A section and an improved profile.

The transition to the new site will involve a period of downtime on Nature Network of several hours this afternoon, starting at approximately 1.30 pm (BST) and lasting for up to four hours. As always, we’ll keep you updated via our twitter account @NatNetNews.

Once the new site goes live, we’d love to hear any feedback that you’d like to share. Whether you’re an experienced Nature Network blogger, an occassional commenter or reader, or a brand new visitor, you can join in discussion on a new forum created to aggregate all comments about the new site.
