We at NPG have been busy putting out lots of new websites in the last little while (Scintilla, Nature Precedings, Nature Reports Stem Cells and NR Climate Change, not to mention slightly older ones like Connotea and all the blogs and podcasts we have) and so you might be wondering: where is NPG headed with all these new online products that seem so different from traditional peer reviewed journals?

You can get a better idea, straight from the the guy who’s steering the ship on these matters, Timo Hannay, head of web publishing at NPG (disclaimer: my boss). In the interview, he talks a bit about his thoughts on integrating some of these websites, and the future of scientific publishing and peer review.
