With only a month now until this year’s SpotOn London, we’d like to let you know the details of a few fun fringe activities that we have organised. If you’ve already got a ticket for the conference, you’ll have received two emails from us via Eventbrite inviting you to sign up for the events. As space is limited at both, you’ll need to do so as soon as possible. Held at the Wellcome Collection Conference Centre on Sunday 11th and Monday 12th November, the theme of this year’s event will be “Connections.” Celebrating the conference’s fifth anniversary, we’re looking forward to two days of discussions, learning new skills and networking. At the 2012 Nobel Laureate Meeting in Lindau, physics was on the agenda. The popular topic was particle physics because during the meeting, scientists at CERN announced the discovery of the Higgs particle.
