This weekend saw the return of \u00a0Science Barcamp Cambridge\u00a0SciBarCamb<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 an unconference in Cambridge, UK for scientists and technologists, taking place on the Friday 20th April and all day on Saturday 21st.\u00a0The goal of the event is to create connections between people who have a lot in common, but don’t work in the same field and may not meet each other otherwise.<\/p>\n

This year’s meeting was organised by\u00a0Eva Amsen, Michelle Brook, Taylor Burns, Maria Cruz, Dan Hagon, Jonathan Lawson, Matt Wood and Lou Woodley. Many thanks to the sponsors, Science, nature.com, Digital Science and Eagle Genomics.<\/p>\n

After a successful morning full of stimulating sessions (you can check out the morning Storifys here <\/a>and here),\u00a0attendees\u00a0enjoyed their lunch while getting the opportunity to network and talk science.<\/p>\n
