Springer Nature has responded to the US National Institutes of Health\u2019s request for information (RFI) on <\/span>Strategies for NIH Data Management, Sharing, and Citation<\/span><\/a>. \u00a0<\/span>Our <\/span>detailed response<\/a> <\/span>covers a multitude of issues on barriers to and incentives for sharing data and software that support published research.<\/span><\/p>\n

The content of the response reflects the research data and software policies of many Springer Nature publications, along with the experience and evidence gained from our contributions to and leadership of relevant initiatives on <\/span>data citation<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>data policy development<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>data publishing<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>researcher engagement<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>data repository collaborations<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n
