Moerner for their contributions to the development of super-resolution microscopy<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We are very pleased to have published a Nature Protocol from the <a href=\"https:\/\/janelia.org\/lab\/betzig-lab\">Betzig lab<\/a> earlier this year on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/nprot\/journal\/v9\/n5\/full\/nprot.2014.087.html\">Bessel beam plane illumination microscopy<\/a>. \u00a0And we are equally pleased that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/protocolexchange\/\">Protocol Exchange<\/a> can claim a Nobel Laureate amongst its authors; the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.stanford.edu\/group\/moerner\/\">Moerner lab<\/a> has published a guide to using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/protocolexchange\/protocols\/2622\">Easy-DHPSF<\/a> to measure the precise localisations of molecules in images acquired using a wide-field DH epifluorescence microscope.\u00a0I would also encourage you to visit Moerner\u2019s very informative lab website, if only to find out about the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.stanford.edu\/group\/moerner\/guacamole.html\">guacamole<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are a little late to the party (it has been a busy month at Protocols HQ!), but Nature Protocols would like to extend their warmest congratulations to all this year\u2019s winners of the Nobel Prize for Chemistry: Eric Betzig, Stefan Hell and William E.
