The film features interviews with industry, government and regulatory officials. It also shows some of the countermeasures companies are taking to protect their brands, which gives mPedigree a chance to show off its text message-based pill authentication system, where an eight-digit code hidden under a scratch panel can be used to verify a drug’s authenticity. For more on the topic, turn to our April issue in which reporter Asher Mullard offers a roundup of the various implements in an anti-counterfeiter’s technological toolkit.
