Wyeth’s vaccine development effort creates positions.

The Andover, Massachusetts site of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals is hiring 150 new people in engineering, manufacturing, and quality control, the company announced yesterday.

The Andover facility specializes in the development of recombinant DNA biopharmaceuticals. It currently employs 1,900 people in Andover and 1,000 people in Cambridge.
