Anticipation of the announcement of the new Harvard president is rising now with news stories about the presidency coming out weekly, almost daily.
The latest one, from today, asks the question of whether Harvard should have a scientist as its leader, given how much the university will be expanding science in Allston. Some say Harvard needs a scientist to understand this vision for science while others say having a scientist-president might be seen as self-serving.
