  1.  I wish I had been able to attend this! An incredibly interesting topic and one I am quite passionate about.

Thank you for the ‘Unable to Attend?’ coverage links!

  2. Thanks, Paige.

It was a really interesting day and good to get so many people working in the same area together in one place. I found the session on ethics especially interesting – for me it raised the question of where a journalist’s role starts and ends; if you provide provocative content, how much of the ensuing conversation should you follow and take part in now that we have social media to help with that? And how often do/should journalists follow up on debates that they start e.g. with mpre original content that addresses the public’s responses?

  3. Thanks Lou, very interesting! Is there another such conference on the agenda in the near future?

  4. The next science communication-related conference taking place locally in in London this Wednesday and Thursday: the BSA’s Sci Comm conference. This is an annual event and open to everyone. I hope to be live-tweeting on Thursday so watch the #scc2011 hashtag on twitter 🙂 We’ll also be providing some coverage here on Of Schemes and Memes.
