This week, the secretive Blue Origin project released video footage of its first test flight, which took place in November 2006. The startling footage (see https://www.blueorigin.com), with the added ingredients of a billionaire backer and a promise to offer well-heeled tourists the trip of a lifetime by 2010, has space tourism enthusiasts sitting up and taking notice. But will this project really be the one to open the doors to space?
