What might be dubbed the ‘year of the Darwin’ is now entering its final few months. We’ve seen exhibitions galore, commemorative merchandise, books and articles in excelsis and even musical cross-overs. It was only a matter of time before the feature film.

Nature and Icon Films are organising a private screening of the much-anticipated Creation (note: Flash site) on Wednesday 16th September at the Science Museum. The film tells the story of Darwin’s life (so you may be familiar with the broad plot and characters), and is based on the book ‘Annie’s Box’ by Randal Keynes, Charlie D’s great great grandson. The film stars Paul Bettany, Jennifer Connely, Jeremy Northam, Toby Jones and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Tickets are not available to the general public, but Nature are happy to extend invitations to you guys. They’ve set aside 20 tickets for London Nature Network users. Director Jon Amiel and Oscar winning Producer Jeremy Thomas will introduce the film, followed by a screening on the Science Museum’s IMAX screen.
