British Library ’Let’s Get Quizzical’ Christmas Quiz
I tried to dissuade them from the clichéd name, but they weren’t having it. Anyhow, come along to the BL on Tuesday 7 December for their latest TalkScience event, which features six rounds of fiendish science-themed fun and the occasional spot prize. Tickets are a mere £2, and you have to book in advance.
sameAs events aim to bring curious people from science, technology and the arts together in a kind of pub salon event. Their December meetup, you’ll have no doubt already figured, will be a science and technology quiz. This one’s on Monday 20 December in the downstairs bar of the Book Club, Shoreditch. Tickets are £5 and you’re encouraged to book in advance.
I’ll be at both events, dodging the hurled mince pies from bamboozled punters. Be good to see a few of you at one or both.
