Back in July we announced the names of our first Editorial Board Members, and during the last month we have expanded our representation to include the fields of climate science, oceanography, ecology, and geoscience. Our Editorial Board members will play a crucial role in Scientific Data’s editorial process.  Board members will help determine which works are sent out for peer-review, select appropriate peer referees, and will recommend a decision for each submission, based on the referees’ reports and our editorial guidelines.
