Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting – Wednesday’s Panel Discussion: CERN #lnlm12

On Wednesday, physicists working on the Large Hadron Collider at CERN announced that they have finally found the Higgs boson — the particle thought to be behind the mass of all the others.

With this year’s Lindau conference focusing on Physics, for attendees this proved to be a momentous day and even Nobel Laureate David J. Gross revelled in the news:

In order to celebrate and discuss the findings, afternoon sessions included a press conference and a Panel Discussion with Nobel Laureates and John Ellis of CERN.
