Good news for fans of standing in a pub, talking about science. Our popular drinks nights are kicking off again next month, and in a new venue.

The event takes place on Thursday 17 April in the upstairs bar of the Rugby Tavern, from 6.30. For the veterans among you, that’s literally round the corner from the old venue (The Lamb).

The format is simple. Come along to the pub, drink some drink and talk some science. There is no agenda or presentation to sit through, just a comfortable environment to meet other scientists from around town. Oh, and we’ll buy a drink for the first 30 people who turn up with print-outs of their Nature Network profiles.

If you’d like to come along, it’d be helpful if you could either drop me an email (m.brown – at – nature.com) or leave a note in the events forum, so we can get an idea of numbers.
